Yesterday Liam was baptized at the Rutland Congregational Church on a gorgeous autumn day. It took us several months to find a church in which we felt comfortable raising our boys, but Reverend Pryce and his church seems to suit us. It's right next door to the church where we were married 7.5 years ago. The ceremony was simple and nice. Uncle Brian and Aunt Meg are Liam's godparents. Evan also decided to join us at the front of the church making a mad dash from Grampa in the pew. Liam was stoic throughout the ceremony, and he looked Reverend Pryce straight in the eye after he was baptized. (I guess a little water on the head is nothing compared to a bath with Evan!)Then, as usual, he slept through the second half of the service. Afterwards, Nana and Grampa had everyone over for a delicious brunch.
