Yesterday we had Liam's birthday party. It was a quiet affair with so many other recent family gatherings and the threat of bad weather. Nana, Grampa, Babci, Dziadek, Aunt Meg, and Uncle Brian came over for Sunday dinner followed by cake and presents. The newest cousin did not make his/her arrival in time to share Liam's birthday or to attend the party. Poor Evan was under the weather and slept through the first half of the party. He rallied in time to blow out Liam's candle and share (or take away) the presents. Liam enjoyed some rides aro
und the house in his new car that can be pushed with a stick by an adult or commandeered by a reckless older brother before the car was stored in the garage for warmer weather. Thank you to everyone who brought or sent Liam gifts for his birthday! He loves his new toys and clothes that befit the big boy that he thinks he already is.
