Just a few months ago, I could never imagine sending Liam to preschool in the late fall when he'll be 2.9 years old, the magic age for preschool. Now he seems ready today. His verbal skills are improving by the day, and he is becoming more and more self-sufficient. This weekend he learned how to snap his car seat buckle in place. (Hopefully he won't learn to unsnap it anytime soon.) He is even showing an interest in the potty, and we have started some preliminary toilet training.
Above you can see a sample of Liam's drawing skills. In case you cannot tell, this is a car with wheels on a road. This is his favorite thing to draw, and sometimes he gets carried away with the wheels. He is also getting much better at coloring. He seems to enjoy drawing and coloring as much as his big brother, Evan.
