Welcome to Fall

We had a busy and fun weekend with the Brothers YZ with some dry (finally) and crisp fall weather. On Friday, we spent our Mommy day in Providence visiting our dear friend, Barbara. Evan was very excited to meet the two new members of Barbara's family--her new dog, Jessie, and rabbit, Jack. He even brought gifts--a carrot from Grampa's garden for Jack and a dog bisquit for Jessie. After Evan walked the rabbit around the yard with a leash and Liam followed Jessie around, we all went to the Modern Dinner for brunch. Then, we visited our favorite Rhode Island playground in Wayland Square.
On Saturday, we went to the Fall Harvest Festival at the Overlook Farm in Rutland. This festival has to be the great deal for fall family fun. For $5 per car, there are children's activities, petting zoo, hay ride to the pumpkin patch, free cider, and all kinds of exhibits on agriculture around the world. The only additional costs were the pumpkins, and as you can see in the picture below, Liam took the responsibility of choosing a pumpkin very seriously. Evan enjoyed especially enjoyed the African exhibits where he made peanut butter and played some intruments.
