Four Year Report

Yesterday Evan had his four year old check-up. (If he had his way, it would have been his firefigher's physical. He told me, "Now that I'm four, I can go to firefighter school instead of preschool.) He has finally topped 30 lbs. He weighed in at 31 lbs. (10th percentile) and measured 38.5 inches (25th percentile). Although he is still small for his age, he continues to grow at a faster rate each year. Everything checked out just right for him, and he was a model patient. His pediatrician was not concerned about his trouble pronoucing blended sounds with the letter "s" at this time. That was my only concern about him even though I think his pronunciation is adorable. His blind-as-a-bat mother was thrilled to hear that his vision is 20/20.
