After a long and damp spring, summer hit Holden this weekend with temperatures in the 90s. Fortunately, the town pool also opened this weekend. Between sprinklers (or as Evan calls them "frinklers"), the baby pool, and the town pool, the Brothers YZ enjoyed lots of water time. Even Cousin Henry joined in on the fun. The water in the baby pool was a bit chilly for him, but he liked the sprinkles of water from his mommy and watching the action of his cousins.
We weren't sure how Liam would react to the town pool. He has been a bit under the weather this weekend with seasonal allergies and seemed a bit timid about the water park at the Pioneer House. Well, his zest for the bathtub definitely transferred to the pool, and after a few minutes of clinging to Mommy and Daddy, he wading on his own, splashing with his big brother, and doing a water version of his step dancing. I think that the Brothers YZ will love their swim lessons that start in a few weeks.
