Today was Liam's first visit to Dr. Tony, the pediatric dentist with a booming practice in Central Massachusetts. I was able to schedule appointments for both Evan and Liam at the same time which was great. Liam watched Evan get his teeth cleaned and examined first, and once he was assured that Evan was finished, he was eager to hop into the chair. He was very cooperative with his cleaning and examination. We found out that he has all of his baby teeth in, and so far he has sustained no damage from his continued nighttime pacifier habit. Both Evan and Liam are cavity-free!
Liam was a little disappointed that a lollipop wasn't proferred at the end of the visit, but he did like his choices of stickers and other prizes. His favorite part of the visit had to be the attractive, young dental hygienists fussing over him and Evan. He chatted them up the entire time that Evan was the patient telling them about his Halloween costume, his cousin Henry in Shrewsbury, and his hopes to visit Tiki Beach--none of this information solicited. It was hilarious!
