With 75 degree weather, sunshine, and well-behaved children, it was a most beautiful Easter. Our festivities began last night when we set out a bowl of water, leftover Caesar salad, two carrots, and empty Easter baskets on our porch for the Easter bunny and had a special storytime with all rabbit stories. In the morning, the Brothers YZ found their baskets filled with some candy, toys, flashlights, and books. After a breakfast of Frosted Flakes, another holiday treat, and a Peep, we got dressed in shorts (!) for church where the cousins had a chance to play in the nursery.

We then hosted Easter dinner for Nana, Grampa, Babci, and Dziadek at the Pioneer House where we even had an Easter Egg Hunt courtesy of Nana and Grampa. Liam was so exhausted from the morning activity, and probably crashing from a sugar high from the Peep, chocolate police car, and Easter egg cookie, that he crawled over his gate and put himself in for a nap before dinner was served. Fortunately, he woke up before our guests left and enjoyed lots of outdoor playtime with his parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.
