On Saturday night, we hosted our first movie night. We invited over Evan and Liam's neighborhood friends for an early showing of Madagascar. Evan has been talking a lot about sleepovers lately so we had a sleepover theme. All of the kids wore their pajamas, and we brought down lots of blankets and pillows into the family room. Evan had lots of fun arranging the pillows before the guests arrived, and he made sure to serve them all a juice bag and snack cup. We watched the movie with the lights dimmed. (Thus the night shot above.) The movie was a little long to keep all of the kids' attention for the duration, but they all had fun and no one was hurt. Upon the close of the movie, Evan insisted on bringing out his instruments so that everyone could play along with the music as the credits rolled.
