SNOW!

For those readers of the blog who aren't experiencing onslaught of snowstorms that everyone on the Northeast Corridor and beyond are, this post is for you! We have had a ton of snow. According to Greg, we are well over 60 inches of total snow accumulation, and it's only February 2nd.
Our driveway is getting narrower by the minute. The snow in the backyard covers the swings and almost reaches the top of the fence. We had so much snow on the roof of our garage and porch that we borrowed our neighbors' roof rake. (If you thought snow shoveling was hard, try the roof rake!) Did I mention our snowblower is broken?
We have yet to have a complete week of school in 2011. The boys are enjoying their extended Mommy time, but we are getting stir crazy. The snow is so heavy and deep that the boys really cannot play in the snow without losing their boots or getting stranded. We are hoping and praying the snow predicted for Saturday does not postpone Liam's birthday party at McDonald's Play Place which will not only be celebratory but also provide some much needed exercise.
As I write this post, we received another automated message from Wachusett Regional School District--a two hour delay tomorrow after a snow day today and early release on Tuesday. Will I get any work done this month, or winter?
