The Brothers YZ, Liam especially, have lots of changes in store in August, and the changes started this week. On Wednesday, Liam had his last day at Toddler Time Playcare where he has been going twice a week since he was three months old. We were so incredibly fortunate to stumble upon Debbie and Sandy at Toddler Time when I let my original day care arrangements for Liam fall through. Debbie and Sandy are a mother/daughter team who have been operating a day care together for more than ten years. They specialize in children three years and under and do a fabulous job of teaching social skills and even beginning academic skills in a very loving environment (and never use a TV). Liam just thrived there!
For the next week and a half, Evan and Liam will have a last hurrah with the other amazing child care provider in our lives, our nanny/babysitter, Katie Carlson. We have been sharing the fabulous Katie Carlson with our neighbors for the past three years, and now that the two youngest kids, Liam and Sage, are off to preschool--together--Katie is on to "her new family." We are very excited at the she will still be available for date nights and possibly for a return stint as shared nanny next summer. Keep your fingers crossed!
