Today Liam and I went with Uncle Brian and Henry to Digger Day at the library. As accurately described in the library summer brochure, it is one of Holden's "most highly anticipated event of the summer." What could better better than fire trucks, police cars, big lawn mowers, trash trucks, and cherry pickers in a parking lot in the rain? Henry and Liam had a good time, and they were both very patient with the lines and cooperative about getting out of the vehicles. Evan was disappointed that he missed the event due his literary art adventures, but with the price of that summer camp, he is not missing a day unless he is seriously ill.
