A Visit from Flat Stanley

On Saturday, an out-of-town guest arrived in our mailbox. His name is Flat Stanley, and he was sent to us from a dear friend, Jimmy, all of the way from New Jersey. Jimmy read a book about Flat Stanley, a young boy who is squashed by a bulletin board and is able to take advantage of cheap travel to exciting places via the postal service. For a school project, everyone in Jimmy's class is sending his/her own Flat Stanley to a faraway place in search of adventure. Hosts are asked to take photos of Flat Stanley on his adventures that will be shared with the class to learn about geography. Flat Stanley was one of Greg's favorite books as a child, and he is very excited to help out for Jimmy's class project and teach the Brothers YZ about Flat Stanley. After a restful night's sleep on the refrigerator, Flat Stanley went on his first outing to the Children's Discovery Museum in Acton. It was all boys outing so that Mommy could host a baby shower for Aunt Meg at the Pioneer House. More about that later...
