Believing that Greg and I would be the liberal sort of parents, I was amazed how quickly Evan gravitated toward stereotypically male toys. I suppose that we were unconsciously directing some of his interests in this direction, but I don't think we were that bad. Still, one of Evan's first words was "ball," and he already loved trains and cars before he was one year old. Liam is no different. He has been pushing little cars all over the place for months now, and as shown in the video below (exhibiting one of my favorite "little boy" actions), he can already play firefighters in his own way. So far he doesn't respond well to the direction of Chief Evan.
