Christmas week started with the annual holiday concert at Davis Hill Elementary School. The concert features kids from kindergartent to 5th grade singing songs and dancing together, solos by the musically talented, and skit by the 5th graders. It's hard to believe that next year Liam will be in the concert.
The performances continued with the annual nativity pagaent at St. Francis Church. Liam had no interest in rehearsing so he wasn't in the pagaent this year. Greg had a key speaking part of the Herald Angel getting to recite Linus' lines from the Charlie Brown Christmas. Evan and Uncle Brian were shepherds who got to cower in fear as Greg recited his lines.
After the pagaent, we all came back to the Pioneer House for Christmas Eve dinner which was a festive event other than repeated vomitting by Liam. The poor kid! He kept crying and saying, "Does this mean I won't get Christmas now?" We kept assuring him that Santa would still come and crossed our fingers that the other guests would not get sick and Liam wouldn't have to be quarantined on Christmas day. Fortunately, the prayers came through, and by Christmas morning, Liam seemed fine.
The boys were happy with their gifts from Santa, mommy and daddy, Grammy and Grampy, and the Ciraulos. It was a whole lot of Star Wars including
electronic light sabers which will definitely take duels to a whole new level.
