To celebrate the end of a great year of kindergarten, we surprised Evan with an overnight trip to CoCo Key Water Resort in lovely Fitchburg, MA. Evan has seen the commercials and hear the buzz from his friends and has been begging us to go. It has been difficult to keep this a secret, but it was worth it to see him figure it out from the clues in the car upon pick-up from the last day of school. The boys had a great time on the water slides, river "rapids," hot tub (aka the warmer basketball pool), and various water spraying/dumping devices. Since we stayed overnight, we were also able to enjoy to regular pool and spa. It was exhausting chasing Liam as he energetically tried everything, but it was worth it for the big smiles and outbursts of "We're at CoCo Keys!" What a start to summer vacation. If only Mommy and Daddy didn't have to work...
